Biography
Mr. Ray is a 1988 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and received his undergraduate degree (A.B, History), with distinction, from Cornell University in 1985. A member in good standing of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars, Russell W. Ray, Esquire, counsels clients in federal and local courts throughout the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia areas. He has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property distribution and other family law issues, bankruptcy and creditor's rights, personal injury, civil litigation and civil appeals. With over two decades experience in private practice, Mr. Ray has represented clients before the highest courts of Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and New York and various federal circuit courts of appeals. Mr. Ray is a member of the family law section of the Virginia bar.
